Study visit in Poland

LAG Tskaltubo was visiting the partner organization Volunteer Center in Lublin, in Poland.

Within the framework of the visit, LAG members visited "Nowe Radio" and introduced the listeners to the activities of LAG Tskaltubo, cooperation plans with the Volunteer Center in Lublin.

Also, a meeting was held with EMAUS representatives in Lublin. We visited their pizzeria, woodworking shop, thrift store, housing and rehabilitation center for people with mental health problems and the homeless. EMAUS activities in Poland enable citizens with relevant needs to find work, undergo rehabilitation and actively engage in public activities.

In addition, LAG Tskaltubo members were at the local community center in Lublin. The volunteers of the center promote the involvement of young people in cultural events and activities. The community center is financially supported by the local self-government.

During the visit, representatives of LAG Tskaltubo and  Volunteer Center in Lublin worked on joint project ideas. We introduced LAG activities to the partners and shared the experience gained from the media literacy project.
